Why did I start Speak as Romans Speak?
‘Speak as Romans Speak’ is pun on the sayings ‘When in Rome, Do as Romans Do’. I think people visiting foreign country should try some to comunicate with local people in local language to show respect for them. I hope this site helps people communicate with people all over the world.
The project’s goal:
Visitors can share basic expressions in various languages through Internet video sharing services (ex. youtube.com, revver.com). Let’s join our project in your own language!
How to join our project:
It’s very simple and easy.
- Comment on any posts how to say the expressions of the titles in your own language.
- Upload your videos to revver.com or youtube.com and tag your videos ’speakasromansspeak.com’. I subscribe the tag of the services so I can check out your videos and introduce them on this site.
I hope you can make better comunication with local people through this project.
