    You can say more frankly ‘dai suki desu’.
    In Japanese, they are likeky to omit ‘kore wa’.

    I’ll add the movie saying ‘dai suki desu’ soon.

    Isn’t ‘daisuki’ a little strong? Or is that only when directed to another person?

    My understanding is that “like” and “love” are not used as freely when talking to another person.

    Dai suki, liking very much, is ok for objects.

    As native Japanese, ‘daisuki’ can be used for objects.
    but it’s more natural to use it for people than objects.
